Corey K. Hambrick, an Atlanta native, was born in 1983. He is a product of the DeKalb County School System and graduated from Redan High School in 2001. In July 2006, he graduated from Alabama A&M University with a degree in Political Science. In December 2012, he earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Strayer University.

Pastor Corey serves the community daily as Rockdale County’s Chief of Staff and previously served as a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigative Division of the Conyers Police Department. His professional experience in leadership, public service, and law enforcement has uniquely equipped him to minister with wisdom, compassion, and integrity both inside and outside the church.

He heard the call of God on his life at the age of fourteen and accepted that call at fifteen, committing himself early to serving God’s people. In the Fall of 2011, Pastor Corey answered God’s mandate to serve as Senior Pastor and Teacher of The Life Church Christian Center. Under his leadership, the church has become one of the most impactful and talked-about churches in the Conyers community, known for its bold faith, authentic worship, and commitment to real-life transformation.

Pastor Corey was featured on Preachers of Atlanta, a docu-series highlighting pastors who minister in unorthodox ways. This platform allowed him to minister to millions of households across the United States and abroad while also bringing awareness to police and community relations.

He is the founder of Thinking Under Fire, Inc., an organization focused on educating communities and helping mend relationships between law enforcement and civilians. Pastor Corey has a heart for people and is passionate about helping individuals discover their purpose, respond wisely to life’s challenges, and live intentionally through faith in Christ.

Pastor Corey is a self-motivated man of God with a strong desire to win souls for Christ. He is widely respected for allowing God to use him boldly to bless others through his spiritual gifts, practical teaching, and servant leadership.

He is married to Mrs. Corrinne Hambrick, and together they have three children: Tiyanna M. Jackson, Chloe N. Hambrick, and Corey K. Hambrick Jr. Pastor Corey continues to be a blessing to all those he encounters, leading with humility, faith, and a heart fully devoted to God.
